Is it fact or fiction? We’ve heard many rumors about our partnership with Wyndham Destinations. In order to clear up your questions, we want to provide facts in a fun way. #1 FACT OR FICTION

Wyndham Destinations purchased Grand Palms Resort in November 2017.

This is FICTION.

THE FACTS: Grand Palms Resort and Wyndham Destinations entered into an awesome partnership.

Grand Palms Resort has partnered with Wyndham Destinations where Wyndham Destinations oversees sales and marketing at Grand Palms Resort. Grand Palms Resort continues to manage all aspects of resort operations.

#2 FACT OR FICTION

Grand Palms Resort owners are required to change their ownership due to the new partnership with Wyndham Destinations.

This is FICTION.

THE FACTS: Your Grand Palms Resort ownership remains the same as before the Wyndham Destinations partnership.

But if you so choose, you may explore all of the additional benefits that are now available via Wyndham Destinations' offerings at a Wyndham Destinations sales presentation during your next vacation at Grand Palms Resort.

#3 FACT OR FICTION

Grand Palms Resort guests are not required to attend a Wyndham Destinations sales presentation when vacationing at Grand Palms Resort.

This is FACT.

MORE FACTS: Wyndham Destinations presentations are held regularly for those who wish to attend. Guests are not required to go.

If you’re interested, you have the option to explore all of the additional benefits that are now available via Wyndham’s offerings by attending a sales presentation during your next vacation at Grand Palms Resort.

Another great perk that you’ll receive by attending is the discounted tickets to some of Myrtle Beach’s best entertainment venues and restaurants.

#4 FACT OR FICTION

Wyndham Destinations has purchased real estate that previously was owned by Grand Palms Resort.

This is FICTION.

THE FACTS: Wyndham Destinations has not purchased any real estate from Grand Palms Resort. Grand Palms Resort is leasing space to Wyndham at the Preview Center and VIP Services near the Outdoor Pool. Grand Palms Resort owners and visitors now have easy access to learn about all that Wyndham Destinations has to offer them without having to leave the Resort!

Wyndham Destinations is purchasing unsold weeks at Grand Palms Resort to use as part of its own membership inventory.

This is FACT.

MORE FACTS: Wyndham Destinations has purchased intervals of Grand Palms Resort vacation time that were previously unsold. Wyndham Destinations is using these weeks as part of its own membership inventory.

This doesn’t affect your ability to reserve your week that you own at Grand Palms Resort because Wyndham Destinations is purchasing unsold inventory.

Also, by purchasing unsold weeks, Wyndham Destinations is helping to offset homeowners association costs by paying previously uncollected maintenance fees for the weeks that it purchases.

#6 FACT OR FICTION

It is more expensive for Grand Palms Resort owners now that Grand Palms Resort is partnered with Wyndham Destinations.

This is FICTION.

THE FACTS: The partnership between Grand Palms Resort and Wyndham Destinations may even decrease owners’ expenses!

Wyndham Destinations is purchasing intervals of Grand Palms Resort vacation time that were previously unsold.

By purchasing unsold weeks, Wyndham Destinations is paying previously uncollected maintenance fees for the weeks that it purchases. This helps to offset homeowner association costs for Grand Palms Resort owners.
