Stuff a Sea Creature – A Friend for All Ages

Choose from a variety of sea animals!

If you’re looking to have some fun, head to the Activity Center located at the Outdoor Pool. The Activity Center is where most of our arts and craft activities are located. One of the favorite Resort activities is Stuff a Sea Creature. This activity is hands on, and so much fun!

Dress up your sea pal with a visor

First you choose your very own sea creature to create. After you make your selection, your new friend needs help getting filled up. We provide the stuffing and you provide the love to finish your creation. You also pick out a cool colorful visor for them to wear.

Once your friend is ready to go home with you, you can decorate its carrier. Our recreation attendant helps you all along the way. At the end of the activity, you fill out a birth certificate for your new sea pal. You pick out a name, and the attendant signs the certificate to make the adoption complete!

Fill up your sea creature with love and care

This activity is fun for all ages, especially true since you have a new friend to take home with you! There is nothing better than seeing the smile on a child’s face as they make their very own special sea friend. To make a sea creature of your own, head to the Activity Center at the Outdoor Pool. **Please check the current activity schedule in the Resort's Welcome Magazine for current days and times. Stuff a Sea Creature Activity Kits are also available for purchase all year.

Grand Palms Resort's Charitable Efforts

Grand Palms Resort is committed to doing our part to help our community and to help make the world a better place. We donate part of the proceeds from our Stuff a Sea Creature activity to the South Carolina Aquarium and the Myrtle Beach Sea Turtle Rescue. These professionals rescue sea turtles, care for them in their state-of-the-art facilities, and release them back into the wild once they are well enough to do so. Another chance for you to help. When you purchase a Save the Turtles T-Shirt at our Front Desk. Part of the proceeds from the sales of these shirts will also be donated to the South Carolina Aquarium and the Myrtle Beach Sea Turtle Rescue.
